Should I buy iPhone 16 or wait for the upcoming iPhone 17?

However, based on the rumors and speculations about Apple's new product model, let's analyze to find the optimal choice.

Is the iPhone 17 worth the wait?

iPhone 16 has impressed users in the Vietnamese and global markets with its camera quality and powerful chip; Apple's new generation iPhone line is also rumored to have a series of potential upgrades.

While Apple typically prioritizes new features for the iPhone Pro line and above, it looks like the standard iPhone 17 will also get some notable improvements.

Specs comparison (based on rumored information):

One of the most anticipated changes on the iPhone 17 is the screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Currently, only iPhone Pro models and above have a high refresh rate, providing a significantly smoother scrolling/swiping experience.

The fact that the base iPhone 17 comes with 120Hz will be a "worth the money" upgrade.

This could also pave the way for an Always-On Display feature to appear on the standard version, making it easy to check the time and notifications without lighting up the screen.

However, if you can wait until September, when Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17, you have two more attractive options:

Regardless, the changes between the iPhone 16 and 17 are likely to be relatively modest. Apple typically debuts groundbreaking features on the Pro models before rolling them out across the entire lineup.

So the biggest changes are likely to come next year, the 20th anniversary of the iPhone, with rumors of a "major design overhaul," including a foldable version and a "bold new Pro model with more use of glass."
