This is a regional event, in partnership with Nam A Bank, contributing to supporting customers in focusing on developing the aquaculture ecosystem.
With the theme "Proud of Vietnamese Brands," the Ca Mau Shrimp Festival and the Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum in 2023 affirmed the position of Ca Mau shrimp – Vietnamese shrimp – in the market in terms of both quantity and quality. This contributed to spreading the image and value of the seafood industry and the diverse and unique culinary culture of Vietnam to domestic and international tourists, friends, and partners.
This event features a series of attractive activities such as: an exhibition space showcasing shrimp and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products with nearly 400 participating booths; a workshop summarizing the cooperation program for tourism development between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta; and a conference announcing the planning and investment promotion of Ca Mau province...

In conjunction with this meaningful series of activities, Nam A Bank is setting up a booth offering in-depth consultation on financial products and services for households and businesses involved in aquaculture and seafood processing for export. Particularly noteworthy is the "Preferential Program for Customers in the Seafood Value Chain" with preferential interest rates.
Customers participate in consultations at the Nam A Bank booth.
This incentive program has a limit of trillions of VND, helping customers supplement working capital to meet the needs of aquaculture, seafood procurement and processing, aquatic feed business, and microbial products, etc.
The maximum loan term is 12 months with USD interest rates starting from 3% per year. In addition, the bank offers special incentives for new corporate customers such as: free transactions on payment accounts, free opening of accounts with attractive numbers based on tax identification numbers/business registration certificates, and free opening of accounts with personalized nicknames/names.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, who participated in the event, excitedly shared: “My family is a small-scale shrimp farming household and needs some capital to boost our business at the end of the year. Time is quite tight, so I am very happy to participate in the program and receive detailed advice from the bank. The requirements for loan application documents and procedures are also streamlined, which will help me access capital quickly.”
Nam A Bank's consultation booth attracted a large number of customers.
Nam A Bank is one of the pioneering banks in the field of technology. Accordingly, the Bank has applied digitalization to the approval process, helping to speed up the time for evaluating and approving customer applications. Export documents are processed by the Bank within just 4 hours.
According to a representative from Nam A Bank, this is one of the bank's outstanding programs aimed at supporting the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam in increasing credit for production and business, and stabilizing the macroeconomy . The program will help businesses increase their capital, ready to boost production and business, and meet the market demand for goods during the year-end period.
In addition to supporting businesses in aquaculture and seafood processing for export, Nam A Bank also collaborates and partners with businesses in the industry's supply chain.
For example, NECS cold storage system – a provider of high-quality seafood preservation services with the most modern cold storage system in the region and fully automated management using robots – helps businesses optimize their operational efficiency. With strong capacity and a large scale of 145,000 pallets, NECS is one of the important links in the seafood industry value chain that Nam A Bank has chosen to cooperate with to develop this sector.
