November 3-5, the Switzerland-Vietnam Economic Forum 2025 was held in Da Nang.

The City People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 139/KH-UBND on organizing the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum 2025 (SVEF). The Forum will take place from November 3 to 5, 2025 at Furama Resort Da Nang, in a combination of in-person and online formats, with the participation of 300 - 400 domestic and foreign delegates.

The event aims to promote the image of Da Nang - the innovation and financial center of the Central region, introduce key projects and priority areas of the city, and promote investment and expand cooperation with Swiss and international partners.

Accordingly, on November 3, the City People's Committee held a courtesy reception for the Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam. On November 4, the opening ceremony of the Switzerland - Vietnam Economic Forum 2025 took place at the Furama Resort International Convention Palace, with high-level speeches by representatives of the Swiss Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the Da Nang City People's Committee, the Chairman of SVEF and the Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam.

The program continued with discussion sessions and topics revolving around the following contents: regional and global trade integration; legal and institutional framework for trade, foreign investment; innovation in the field of financial technology and digital finance; development of international financial centers... In the afternoon of the same day, the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements of SVEF and the event press conference took place.

On November 5, the Swiss and international delegations will participate in a program to introduce investment opportunities in Da Nang city, work with leaders of the city People's Committee at the administrative center; visit some key economic and social facilities such as the High-Tech Park, Lien Chieu Port, Da Nang Software Park No. 2, and visit cultural and tourist sites in Hoi An.
