Currently, SJC, DOJI , Bao Tin Minh Chau, PNJ are buying at 133.9 million VND/tael, selling at 135.4 million VND/tael. Mi Hong continues to list the buying price at a higher level than other businesses by 500,000 VND, at 134.4 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, Phu Quy is currently buying at a low level, 132.9 million VND/tael.

The gold ring market has also increased rapidly, with some businesses surpassing the 130 million VND/tael mark. Specifically, Bao Tin Minh Chau is listing the two-way buying and selling price at 127.8-130.8 million VND/tael; Mi Hong is listing it at 128.7-130.2 million VND/tael; Phu Quy is trading at 127.5-130.5 million VND/tael; PNJ is buying at 127.7 million VND and selling at 130.7 million VND/tael. SJC is trading at 127.7-130.2 million VND/tael.
The domestic gold market has witnessed continuous price increases since passing the 124 million VND/tael mark last month. Compared to 1 month ago (6-8), the domestic gold price has increased by 11.6 million VND.
According to the General Statistics Office, the gold price index in August increased by 1.2% compared to the previous month, and by 48.62% compared to the same period last year. On average, the gold price index increased by 40.25% over the same period last year in the first 8 months.
At the Government meeting on September 6, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested Deputy Prime Ministers and agencies to get involved to grasp the situation, propose appropriate solutions, and respond promptly with policies in the management field, including the gold, real estate, and stock markets.
The Prime Minister assessed the fluctuations in gold prices as "very noticeable" and said that he had directed the authorities to intervene to prevent market manipulation, hoarding, and price gouging in the gold market. The State Bank Inspectorate must also actively intervene, and if necessary, the Government Inspectorate must intervene to examine the phenomenon of hoarding, price gouging, and market manipulation.
The world gold price continued to rise at the end of the week. At 8:34 am today, the world spot gold price was at 3,585.3 USD/ounce, up 7.3 USD/ounce compared to last night. Converted to the bank USD price at the price of more than 115.5 million VND/tael, including taxes and fees, about 19.9 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
