On the afternoon of October 4, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De chaired a working session and signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the People's Committee of Nghe An province and 7 technical universities across the country.

Overview of the working session.

This cooperation aims to promote training activities, improve the quality of human resources; scientific research, technology transfer; build programs, projects, and policies to develop infrastructure to serve the socio -economic development strategy of Nghe An.

Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Phong - President of University of Technology spoke at the meeting.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Long - Principal of University of Transport spoke at the meeting.

The 7 technical universities that signed a memorandum of understanding with Nghe An province are: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh National University of Technology; Danang University of Technology; University of Transport; University of Mining and Geology; University of Water Resources and Hanoi University of Construction. Nghe An proposed cooperation contents such as the field of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is the issue of research and proposal of solutions to ensure water security, prevent natural disasters, floods, droughts, and serve multi-purpose planning for the province.
