Nghe An's budget revenue reached nearly 14,000 billion VND in the first 6 months of 2025

At the meeting, the leader of Nghe An Department of Finance said: State budget revenue in the province in the first 6 months of 2025 recorded many improvements, reaching nearly 14,000 billion VND, an impressive growth rate in the context that the province is focusing on the work of arranging and perfecting the apparatus according to the 2-level local government model.

This positive result not only exceeded the estimated progress but also created important momentum for the province to strive to complete this year's budget revenue target at a level much higher than the target.

Specifically, the total state budget revenue as of June 30 reached VND 13,824 billion, equal to 78% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and increased by 14% over the same period in 2024. Of which, domestic revenue reached about VND 12,865 billion (equal to 80% of the estimate, increased by more than 8% over the same period); revenue from import and export activities is estimated at VND 870 billion (equal to 53% of the estimate).

In 2025, Nghe An set a budget revenue target of VND26,000 billion, far exceeding the assigned plan of VND17,726 billion. Of which, domestic revenue (excluding land use fees and lottery) is expected to reach VND13,955 billion; revenue from land use fees VND10,270 billion and import-export VND1,650 billion.

The financial sector is focusing on synchronous solutions such as promoting administrative reform, preventing revenue loss, expanding the tax base, creating favorable conditions for taxpayers, and is determined to complete and exceed the set targets.
