At Huoi Co village (Nhon Mai commune), Nhon Mai Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to organize the National Great Unity Day, presenting gifts to the Management Board and villagers. On this occasion, the unit also presented gifts to Tang Sau village (Laos), a sister village of Huoi Co, demonstrating the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

In Na Ngoi commune, Nam Can Border Guard Station coordinated with the "Lighting up the Faith" Club ( Ninh Binh province) to organize the program "Borderland Red", giving 50 gifts to poor households in Nam Khien 1 and Nam Khien 2 villages; giving blankets, warm clothes, books, school supplies... to Nam Can Kindergarten and Primary & Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. The unit also gave 100 national flags to the people of Nam Can village and more than 200 sets of clothes to the station's Charity House.

Muong Ai Border Guard Station participated in the Festival in Muong Tip commune and presented 45 gifts to poor households in the area, contributing to encouraging people to stabilize their lives.

In Na Loi commune, Na Loi Border Guard Station participated in the Great Unity Festival in villages such as Huoi Kho and Noong Han, the most remote and difficult villages of the commune. Along with cultural activities, folk games according to local customs, the unit coordinated with local authorities to present 18 gifts to poor households, contributing to strengthening the solidarity and close relationship between the Border Guard force and ethnic people.
Along with the recreational activities, the Border Guard units also actively participated in cleaning the environment, repairing village roads, visiting and giving gifts to policy families and households with especially difficult circumstances. These meaningful activities have spread the spirit of mutual love, helping people have more motivation to overcome difficulties and rise up.

Colonel Tran Dang Khoa - Deputy Political Commissar of Nghe An Border Guard emphasized: "Activities towards the National Great Unity Day not only help to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, but also vividly demonstrate the close relationship between the Border Guard and the People in the border areas. This is an important foundation to build and promote a strong People's Border Guard position, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the national border".


The activities of "eating, living and working together" with the people of Nghe An Border Guard have become a highlight in the National Great Unity Day.
The image of the soldier in green uniform, close and devoted to the people, is increasingly imprinted in the hearts of compatriots in the border areas of the Fatherland, contributing to building a peaceful, stable, united and developed border.
