
The program is organized by the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Cultural Palace in coordination with the Nguyen Duy Center for Arts and Musical Instruments.
"Welcome Home" introduces classic works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin and Johann Sebastian Bach/Ferruccio Busoni, including the Sonata “Moonlight”, Fantasie-Impromptu and Chaconne in D minor. With solid technique and modern expressive thinking, artist Luu Duc Anh fully expressed the depth and vitality of classic works, affirming the mettle of an international-class performer.

The program also featured guest performances by Bui Quang Khanh, from Hai Phong, a student at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Despite being visually impaired, he has won many domestic and international music awards.

Luu Duc Anh is a pianist from Hai Phong, currently active in many stages at home and abroad. He has collaborated with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, the London Chamber Orchestra, the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra (Sweden) and many other famous orchestras. Having received formal training at the Royal Conservatory of Liège (Belgium) and the Malmö Academy of Music (Sweden), he is one of the representative artists of the new generation of Vietnamese academic music.
The “Welcome Home” program not only marks the return of artists to their hometown audiences, but also contributes to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of the people of the Port City. In the context of increasing interest in academic art, activities like “Welcome Home” are important in connecting the community with classical music, promoting the development of local artistic life.
