On the morning of October 4th, Vietnam defeated Indonesia 2-1 in the women's four-person sepak takraw final, securing the gold medal.

In the final match, the Vietnamese sepak takraw team fielded the following players: Tran Thi Ngoc Yen, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen, Nguyen Thi My, and Nguyen Thi Yen.
In the first set, Vietnam was affected by nerves and made many basic mistakes, resulting in a 18-21 loss to their opponent.
But during the break, coach Tran Thi Vui did a pretty good job of motivating her players.
Therefore, entering the second set, Ngoc Yen and her teammates played better, consistently leading their opponents and winning 21-18.
Winning the second set significantly boosted the morale of the Vietnamese sepak takraw team.
Entering the third set, Coach Tran Thi Vui's players showed considerable enthusiasm, making excellent use of opportunities to take the lead against their opponents.
Meanwhile, Indonesia appeared disorganized and made many basic mistakes.
Ultimately, the Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team secured a 21-14 victory in the third set to complete their comeback.
Notably, Vietnam also completed a double gold medal win in the women's four-person sepak takraw event, winning both the World Championships and the Asian Games.
This is also the second gold medal for the Vietnamese sports delegation at ASIAD 19.
Previously, Vietnam had won one gold medal in shooting thanks to shooter Pham Quang Huy.
Not long before that, the Indonesian men's sepak takraw team lost to Myanmar in the final, winning the silver medal.
