For the Vietnam U22 team, coach Kim Sang-sik's players entered the match against Malaysia with a determined spirit to win and secure first place in Group B.

With a comfortable 2-0 victory over Malaysia, Vietnam U22 has risen to the top of Group B with 6 points after two matches. In the semi-finals, the red-shirted team will face the Philippines U22 – the winner of Group C.

As for the Vietnamese women's team, the unexpected loss to the Philippines means that the team led by coach Mai Duc Chung must win against Myanmar to advance to the next round.

Under that pressure, the Vietnamese women's team proactively pushed their formation forward and played a pressing game right after the opening whistle, creating a dominant position against their opponents.

After the first 15 minutes of the first half, the girls in red had already put the ball into the net twice against Myanmar thanks to goals from Van Su and Bich Thuy. With a two-goal lead, the Vietnamese women's team played more comfortably for the remainder of the match and maintained the score.

This victory propelled the Vietnamese women's team to the top of Group B with 6 points, while the Philippines finished second. In the semi-finals, Coach Mai Duc Chung's team will face the Indonesian women's team in a match that will take place on December 14th.
