Consulting people on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Phu Loc district

Specifically, implementing Plan No. 111/KH-UBND of Phu Loc District People's Committee to organize the collection of public opinions on the project of arranging communal-level administrative units in Phu Loc District in 2025, 27/27 communes and towns have organized the collection of public opinions. The main form is that communes and towns establish groups, go to each household to distribute ballots to collect voters' opinions, in accordance with the characteristics of the population, ensuring safety, savings, efficiency, publicity, democracy and compliance with the provisions of law.

According to the draft project on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, Phu Loc district will arrange 27 administrative units (23 communes, 4 towns) to form 8 commune-level administrative units (8 communes). In particular, the communes of Vinh Hung, Vinh My, Giang Hai, Vinh Hien will be merged to form a new commune, the expected name of the grassroots administrative unit will be Vinh Loc commune. The communes of Loc Son and the communes of Loc Bon and Xuan Loc will be merged to form a new commune, the expected name of the grassroots administrative unit will be Hung Loc commune. The communes of Loc An, Loc Hoa, Loc Dien will be merged to form a new commune, the expected name of the grassroots administrative unit will be Loc An commune. The communes of Phu Loc and the communes of Loc Tri and Loc Binh will be merged to form a new commune, the expected name of the grassroots administrative unit will be Phu Loc commune. The communes of Lang Co and the communes of Loc Tien, Loc Vinh, Loc Thuy will be merged to form a new commune, the expected name of the grassroots administrative unit will be Chan May - Lang Co commune. Merge the communes: Thuong Quang, Thuong Long, Huong Huu to form a new commune, the proposed name of the grassroots administrative unit is Long Quang commune. Merge the communes: Huong Xuan, Thuong Nhat, Huong Son to form a new commune, the proposed name of the grassroots administrative unit is Nam Dong commune. Merge Khe Tre town and the communes: Huong Phu, Huong Loc, Thuong Lo to form a new commune, the proposed name of the grassroots administrative unit is Khe Tre commune.

Up to now, localities in the district have completed collecting public opinions. Of which, 99.16% of opinions agree with the proposed plan of the district.

On the same day , the People's Council of Quang Dien district, term XI, 2021-2026, held the 18th session (special session) to consider and decide on the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units (ADUs).

Quang Dien voters choose opinions on the draft project to arrange commune-level administrative units

At the meeting, after reviewing the submissions and listening to the inspection report of the Legal Committee of the District People's Council, the delegates of the Quang Dien District People's Council discussed and unanimously passed a Resolution on approving the policy of arranging communal-level administrative units in the district.

According to the project of the City People's Committee, Quang Dien district will arrange 11 administrative units to reorganize into 2 commune-level administrative units (Quang Thanh commune is expected to merge with Huong Phong ward, Thuan Hoa district; transfer 2 communes of Quang Cong and Quang Ngan to merge with Phong Hai ward, Phong Dien town).

Merge 4 communes: Quang Thai, Quang Loi, Quang Vinh, Quang Phu to form a new commune, the proposed name of the grassroots administrative unit is Dan Dien commune. Merge 4 communes: Quang Phuoc, Quang An, Quang Tho and Sia town to form a new commune, the proposed name of the grassroots administrative unit is Quang Dien commune.

Previously, on April 19, Quang Dien district completed collecting opinions from voters and household representatives in the area on the draft project to arrange administrative units at the commune level of Hue city. Thereby, 23,161/23,161 (100%) voters participated in the vote with the approval and consensus rate reaching 97%.
