Since early morning, hundreds of Na Bo villagers have been eagerly gathering on both sides of the road leading to the inauguration ceremony. Small, colorful flags were placed along the path, children hand in hand with their parents eagerly awaiting the moment of inauguration of the new bridge - the long-awaited wish of the whole village.

Many elderly people were moved and could not hold back their tears when they first witnessed the sturdy concrete bridge across the stream that used to divide their village during the flood season.
"Now that there is a new bridge, not only is travel safer for people, but trading agricultural products and exchanging goods with the outside world has also become more convenient, opening up opportunities for socio -economic development for the locality," Mr. Nguyen Van Thin, a resident of Na Bo village, emotionally shared.

The completion of Na Bo Bridge not only helps people travel safely but also opens up opportunities for socio-economic development for the locality, when agricultural trade and exchange of goods become more convenient.

Ms. Chung Thi Mi, a resident of Na Bo village, said that people have been looking forward to the inauguration day for many months. “This is a great gift that Ho Chi Minh City sends to the people of the mountainous region, a meaningful sharing while the northern provinces are trying to overcome and overcome the damage caused by natural disasters and floods,” she said.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc expressed his joy that the new bridge has been officially put into use, serving people's lives and production. He hoped that the local government would continue to effectively promote support resources to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize people's lives, pay attention to community health care and ensure children's learning is not interrupted.

Previously, after the third storm in 2024 caused heavy damage in many northern mountainous provinces, the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City joined hands to contribute more than 59.4 billion VND to support Thai Nguyen in implementing 9 urgent civil works such as roads, bridges, schools, and medical stations. Of which, Na Bo bridge was the first project to be completed and put into use.

After the inauguration ceremony, the delegation from Ho Chi Minh City visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support households in Kim Phuong commune affected by natural disasters.
