At the recently concluded China Masters badminton tournament, Nguyen Thuy Linh had to withdraw midway through her match with Singapore’s No. 1 Yeo Jia Min (ranked 16th in the world) due to an injury. Also due to the injury, the No. 1 badminton player of Vietnam had to focus on treatment, so she had to adjust her schedule for domestic and international competitions in the coming time.

At the 2025 Badminton Tournament for Outstanding Players that just opened in Gia Lai, Nguyen Thuy Linh ( Dong Nai ) did not compete. She also withdrew from the Arctic Open Badminton Tournament (Finland) in early October. If she recovers well, Nguyen Thuy Linh will return to the Denmark Open from October 14 to 19, then the French Open from October 21 to 26, followed by the Hylo Open in Germany from October 28 to November 2.
