* PREVIEWS FOR THE FINAL MATCH
Nguyen Thuy Linh ( world No. 18) has proven her ability with an unbeaten streak, successively defeating Liang Ting Yu (Taiwan), Kisona (Malaysia), Thamonwan (Thailand), and Kim Min-ji (Korea) to reach the final and compete for the championship. If she wins, the 27-year-old Vietnamese badminton player will extend her record of four consecutive women's singles titles at the Vietnam Open.

Interestingly, to reach the final alongside Nguyen Thuy Linh, Chinese player Cai Yanyan (world No. 107) impressively overcame four opponents from India: Ira Sharma, Shriyanshi (India), Tanvi Sharma (India), and Ashmita Chaliha (India). Cai Yanyan, who was once ranked 14th in the world and also won a World Tour Super 300 badminton tournament, is considered a formidable opponent and a significant challenge for Vietnam's number one player, Nguyen Thuy Linh.
The winner of the women's singles final at the 2025 Vietnam Open Badminton Tournament will receive 5,500 points on the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings along with a prize of $8,250 (approximately 200 million VND) from the organizers. This is also a great motivation for Nguyen Thuy Linh and Cai Yanyan to give their best in the final match.
