Sharing after passing the semi-finals, Nguyen Thuy Linh said: "I feel happy and proud to be present in the final match at home again. Right now I am not thinking much about winning the final but need to rest to prepare carefully for tomorrow's match with the desire to contribute my best ability."

By reaching the finals of the Vietnam Open badminton tournament under the World Tour Super 100 system of the Badminton World Federation, Nguyen Thuy Linh has accumulated 4,680 bonus points and 4,180 USD in prize money (about 100 million VND). If she wins the championship, the Dong Nai player will have 5,500 points and 8,250 USD (about 200 million VND).
