Replicating models of women doing green economy and circular economy

On September 4, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Da Nang City, the Green Viet Biodiversity Conservation Center (GreenViet) coordinated with the People's Committees of Son Tra and Hai Van wards and Song Vang commune to organize a workshop on green economic models, circular economy and technical guidance for more than 30 core women to mobilize the participation of 300 women to replicate these economic models in 3 localities from 2025 to 2028.

This activity is within the framework of the project "Enabling women in Central Vietnam to improve their lives and protect the environment and natural resources through the application of green and circular economy " funded by the European Union Delegation to Vietnam, implemented by GreenViet in collaboration with Visible Impact and the Center for Social Research and Development (CSRD).

During 2 days, the core women learned and practiced green economic and circular economic models in Hai Van ward, Hoi An, and Tan Hiep island commune to serve the feasible implementation of economic models suitable for the locality.

The project will provide funding and technical support for operations and business for 3 women's cooperatives; organize fundraising campaigns for Women's Unions; provide funding to implement at least 5 ideas or initiatives to develop economic models and workshops, networking activities, and introduce business models...
