Singer Pham Thuy Linh has just released the music video for her song "Hoa Ban Doi Nguoi Thuong" (The Bauhinia Flower Waits for Her Lover ). The song was composed, arranged, and this is the first time musician Xuan Tri has directed the music video.

Composer Xuan Tri also has special impressions and emotions about this delicate flower and composed the song "Bauhinia Waiting for Her Beloved" : "To me, the bauhinia flower is as beautiful as a young woman from the Northwest region. Its pure, innocent beauty, as well as its unwavering loyalty, as depicted in the legend of the bauhinia flower, has inspired many emotions in me to write this song."
"In my work, I likened the bauhinia flower to a celestial maiden descending to earth, transforming into a young woman with many different colors. This is also what I want Vietnamese people and tourists from all over the world to know and love the Northwest region even more," musician Xuan Tri further shared.
Having collaborated with Pham Thuy Linh on many songs with various styles, composer Xuan Tri understands the singer's vocal range and strengths, which are well-suited to his newly composed song. He said: "Pham Thuy Linh performed the song very well, exactly as I requested and hoped."
While Phạm Thùy Linh shared that she was excited from the moment she heard the demo of the song, remembering the melody after just one listen and repeating it over and over, the singer confided: "Mr. Xuân Trí has given me lyrics that are very relatable, everyday, and suit my taste and that of young people. The song isn't too difficult technically, but it demands emotional depth. The song is very breath-intensive because he asked me to sing it as if I were speaking, letting my breath flow into each word."

Sharing her thoughts on the new music video, singer Pham Thuy Linh said: "The team decided to film the scene at the Fairy Waterfall on a whim. Hearing the story about the Fairy Waterfall from a member of the management board, it coincidentally resembled the story that Xuan Tri subtly alluded to in his work 'Hoa Ban Waiting for the Beloved' . The feeling of transforming into a fairy, into a ban flower amidst this ethereal setting, gave me so many emotions."

To capture the stunning scenes in the music video, Pham Thuy Linh and her team had to overcome many difficulties, crossing mountain passes, climbing steep slopes, and navigating narrow paths to reach the villages. Pham Thuy Linh herself had to climb to the top of a high mountain in the midday sun to film one scene. She explained: "For flycam shots, if there was assistance from others, they would get into the frame. To get those beautiful shots, the entire team really worked very hard."
Composer Xuan Tri has previously worked on music videos and has often accompanied singers to shoot MVs. He quietly researched and learned, and for the first time, he took on the role of director for the music video "Hoa Ban Doi Nguoi Thuong" (Hoa Ban Waiting for Her Beloved) . "During the songwriting process, I envisioned the scenes and camera angles to share with the technical crew. It was very difficult to find suitable locations, and even after finding a satisfactory location, realizing the idea was a whole other challenge. I love it and do it instinctively, but I'm truly excited about this work," composer Xuan Tri expressed.
