The “Lifelong Learning” project is a strategic initiative launched by Diageo in collaboration with Kenan Foundation Asia. The project focuses on enhancing the competitiveness of human resources in the tourism and hospitality industry, aligning with the National Tourism Action Plan (2021-2030) and prioritizing post-COVID-19 recovery.
To date, the project has trained over 1,000 vocational students and 40 instructors at key tourism centers in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Khanh Hoa .
Following its success in Hanoi and Da Nang, the 2025-2026 period marks the third year of Diageo's global "Lifelong Learning" initiative, expanding its implementation to Khanh Hoa - one of Vietnam's most dynamic tourism hubs, with a focus on enhancing professional skills and strengthening connections between students and businesses in the industry.

Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Truc, Director of External Affairs at Diageo Vietnam, stated that the 'Lifelong Learning' initiative demonstrates Diageo's commitment to spreading the spirit of 'celebrating life' responsibly, while empowering the community.
" We are delighted that the program has yielded tangible results in Vietnam, with 98% of participants securing employment in previous phases. The collaboration in Nha Trang continues that mission, preparing the next generation of tourism professionals with solid professional, soft, and green skills for a sustainable future ," said Ms. Truc.
Reportedly, in just the first two years of implementation, the project achieved impressive results: organizing intensive training courses for 838 vocational students and 25 instructors, and successfully connecting 800 students with 19 potential employers in the tourism and hospitality sector.
