On August 3, the College of Mechanics and Irrigation (Dong Nai) welcomed new students to the school to complete admission procedures for the 2025-2026 school year.

MSc. Pham Duy Dong - Vice Principal of the school - said that this admission period the school welcomes 2,024 new students. Of these, 1,351 are students who have completed junior high school and are going to college, the rest are students who have completed high school and are going to college.

"This number is enough to meet the school's enrollment target for this school year. Today's enrollment is also the school's only enrollment," Mr. Dong shared.

On the first day of school, August 3, new students will complete procedures, review documents, pay insurance or transportation fees if needed. They will also be instructed by teachers and lecturers on some rules and regulations before officially starting school tomorrow, August 4.

MSc. Pham Duy Dong added that this year the school will train 16 professions, all of which are related to the labor needs in industrial parks in the area such as industrial electricity, industrial electronics, metal cutting, operating construction machines, etc.

On August 2, Hanoi College of Electromechanics organized the first admission session for new students who just graduated from high school in 2025.

Dr. Dong Van Ngoc - the school's principal - said that the school has currently admitted about 2,500 new students in both the intermediate and full-time college levels. The school will continue to have the next admissions in the coming time, especially after the candidates have their official university entrance results.

Dr. Dong Van Ngoc shared that this year the school continues to strengthen its links with businesses to create jobs for students. In particular, students in many "hot" fields such as automobile or mechanical engineering are sought after by businesses and have signed a commitment to ensure employment right from the time they enter the school.

"The school continues to connect with foreign units to help students have more opportunities to work in Japan, Korea, Germany, etc. after graduation," said Mr. Ngoc.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City International College organized the second admission period for new students this year on August 1.

Master Nguyen Dang Ly - the school's principal - said the school has welcomed nearly 200 new students for the second semester, bringing the total number of students enrolled for the entire admission season to nearly 400. They are mainly focused on the fields of automotive technology, nursing, Chinese, culinary arts, beauty care and pharmacy.

In addition, this year the school has recorded positive signals from the high school - college parallel system: grade 10 currently has about 175 students, divided into 5 classes. "Nearly 30 students studying grade 10 at high schools have transferred to the school to study grade 11 under the dual degree model, both studying general culture and vocational training at school," Mr. Ly added.

Colleges have multiple admissions throughout the year.

Although the state management of vocational education has been transferred from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Education and Training , college enrollment in 2025 will continue to be implemented according to Circular No. 05 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (old), regulating enrollment regulations and determining quotas for intermediate and college levels.

Autonomous schools develop admission regulations, including training majors; admission time; admission objects; and admission forms.

Admissions are conducted one or more times a year.
