With the role of cultural diplomacy, the music programs organized annually by the City Union of Friendship Organizations in coordination with agencies and units have become a connecting bridge, contributing to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the people of Da Nang and international friends; at the same time, contributing greatly to promoting the image of Da Nang to the world.

Da Nang has a fairly comprehensive system of performance facilities, from facilities fully equipped with amenities and equipment for performing arts to outdoor stage spaces. This is an important foundation to help diversify performance types, meeting the increasing demand for art enjoyment of residents and tourists.

In particular, the city government always pays attention to and creates favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies, encourages socialization, and investment in developing the cultural and artistic fields; thereby, artists have the opportunity to exchange with domestic and international artists to improve their skills and the quality of their compositions and performances, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Da Nang City, said that the Union of Friendship Organizations of the city presided over and coordinated with agencies and units to organize many vibrant and diverse cultural and artistic activities imbued with the colors of friendship with a large scale and widespread influence among the city's people and international friends.

Typical examples include the Bunpimay Lao Traditional New Year Festival held every April with many unique cultural and artistic exchange activities between Vietnam and Laos, creating conditions for Lao officials, people and students in Da Nang to celebrate the Bunpimay traditional New Year warmly and joyfully, contributing to deepening the great friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos; the symphony performance by the Quintet from the Japan Symphony Orchestra contributes to further strengthening the friendship between the people of Da Nang in particular and the people of Vietnam in general with Japan. In addition, the City Union of Friendship Organizations presides over and coordinates with agencies and units to organize musical exchanges with art troupes from France, India, Korea, the United States, etc.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, when international art troupes come to Da Nang to perform, they not only bring unique performances but also bring the attention and sympathy of the international community for the city. Da Nang is increasingly known as an event destination, a place where many cultures converge and interact, contributing to enhancing the city's position on the regional and international map. This has a positive impact on tourism development, attracting investment, creating momentum for Da Nang's socio -economic development.

Art exchange programs with other countries are also the foundation for expanding cooperation in many other fields, thereby contributing to building a peaceful, stable and sustainable development environment for the city. Each art exchange program is not only a simple cultural event but also a bridge connecting friendship, promoting the image of Da Nang, promoting integration and comprehensive development for the city in the new era.

To have more quality and unique programs, the city needs to continue to prioritize investment, encourage socialization to upgrade facilities and performance equipment; develop preferential policies to attract businesses and organizations to invest in this field. At the same time, it is necessary to promote training and fostering high-quality human resources, have policies to treat and support young artists and traditional artisans.
