At 2:00 p.m. on October 14, Tuesday. danglonbank.vn, the group of authors who recently accused Mr. Binh of being the one behind the AntEx collapse, published a new article after many days of silence.

Shark Binh was prosecuted

Specifically, this group posted: "Hello everyone, I'm leaving now. Sorry everyone. Hope you get your money back soon. Goodbye." Attached is a picture of Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh (Shark Binh) and some related people working with the authorities.

This move took place right after Hanoi City Police informed about the case related to violations that occurred at NextTech Group Joint Stock Company, chaired by businessman Nguyen Hoa Binh (aka Shark Binh), and a number of related companies on the same afternoon.

Tuesday. danglonbank.vn just posted a new article

Hanoi City Police said they have decided to prosecute Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh and 9 others for two crimes: fraud and violation of accounting regulations causing serious consequences.

Where did the controversy start?

The incident started on September 24, when Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh organized a livestream on social networks and suddenly mentioned the AntEx project, a cryptocurrency platform that has been associated with his name since 2021.

In a speech that attracted attention, he frankly commented: "Many startups today issue coins just to raise capital early. They launch coins, collect a few million USD and then start to "fail". Most of them do not continue to deploy or fail. 99% of coins fall into this situation - investors lose money, while project owners keep the money and benefit legally."

Shark Binh said the reason he spoke up after many years was because he wanted to share his real experience to warn the community and avoid repeating the mistakes that caused him to "lose money and reputation".

However, this statement quickly caused a stir in public opinion, because he was an investor and participant in the development of AntEx - the project that is being investigated.

Two days later, on September 26, he continued to livestream on his personal fanpage with the topic "Crypto Assets - Opportunities and Risks".

During the conversation, he admitted that he had no in-depth knowledge of blockchain but still maintained the view that this technology "has not created real value" but is just "a game for big countries". This statement caused fierce controversy in the cryptocurrency community.

Not long after, an anonymous post appeared on social media on Facebook "Hoi Tuesday.danglonbank.vn", refuting all of Shark Binh's statements.

The author accused Mr. Binh of being the one behind the AntEx collapse, asserting that Mr. Binh directly poured 2.5 million USD into the project, held the "wallet key" and appointed NextTech's chief accountant as CFO to control the entire cash flow.

The article also denied the accusation of token price manipulation, claiming that Shark Binh was the one who directed the token dumping right after AntEx was listed on OKEX, and asked the question: "Where is the initial $2.5 million investment now?".

The writer claims to have evidence and asks Shark Binh to publicly disclose financial transparency.

Under pressure from public opinion, Mr. Binh immediately responded on his personal Facebook page, posting two consecutive posts affirming that he was being slandered.

"My aim is to bring to light the traitors who have been hiding in the shadows and have tarnished my reputation over the years," he said.

He also challenged the accuser to appear publicly in a live livestream confrontation to clarify everything.

Shark Binh also specifically named the person behind the incident as "LVL (or LL)", a former technical staff member he trusted and "helped many times".

According to him, this is the person he appointed as CTO of AntEx, with full access to the system: "I made a mistake in giving him the Key, Code, Blockchain wallet...".

Mr. Binh accused this person of installing backdoor code, stealing developer tokens, "rug-pulling" causing heavy losses to investors, and then disappearing with the data.

AntEx shareholders, according to him, have collected evidence to work with authorities, but handling is difficult because crypto is not yet recognized by Vietnamese law, and electronic traces are easily erased or anonymized.

Shark Binh called the spread of information "one-sided and intentional", and said that the anonymous poster was most likely the anonymous technical group that manipulated the AntEx system.

After that, both sides continuously released evidence and accused each other on social networks, making the case increasingly complicated.

After that, the Hanoi City Police stepped in to clarify the allegations related to the AntEX cryptocurrency project. The authorities appeared at Shark Binh’s company and home, taking away many boxes of documents, causing a stir in public opinion.
