The "Sugar baby" group beat and robbed the "Sugar daddy"

On January 6, Tan Binh District Police (HCMC) initiated a case and prosecuted Nguyen Thi Thien Nhi (born in 1998, residing in District 12), Le Quoc Doanh (born in 2001, residing in Tan Binh District), and Nguyen Dinh KA (born in 2006, residing in Hoc Mon District) to investigate the crime of "Robbery".

Previously, Doanh knew NA (born in 2003, residing in Dak Lak province). At the end of 2023, NA told Doanh about being tricked into having sex by a "Sugar daddy" (men who provide money and support young girls) named TC but did not provide monthly money.

In January 2024, Doanh met Nhi and KA at a coffee shop on Bau Cat 8 Street (Tan Binh District) and learned that Nhi and KA were making a living as nude models for foreign pornographic apps. In addition, Nhi and KA were also “Sugar babies” (pairing up with older men to make money).

During the meeting, Nhi and KA said they were having a feud with a fake sugar daddy nicknamed TC. Nhi said this person was being exposed by the sugar baby community in Ho Chi Minh City for his habit of “riding a horse to chase the wind”.

Nhi showed Doanh TC's picture as well as the threatening text message that Nhi had sent to this man. Coincidentally, this person was also the one who had tricked NA (Doanh's friend) before. Therefore, the group came up with the idea of revenge.

Nhi assigned KA to use the group "Sugar baby Saigon" to text and lure "prey".

The group will lure TC to a hotel on Pham Phu Thu Street (Ward 11, Tan Binh District) to commit the crime.

On the evening of January 3, 2024, KA lured Mr. TC to the room to have sex. When Mr. TC lay down on the bed, the group rushed out, punching and beating him. Nhi assigned Doanh to hold the electric baton to attack Mr. TC, while she was in charge of interrogating him.

The group assigned KA to film. Nhi repeatedly asked Mr. TC how many girls he had cheated on, but Mr. TC was scared and refused to answer. Each time, the "sugar daddy" was beaten and assaulted by the group. After filming was finished, Nhi asked Mr. TC to give her 15 million VND (the fee for having sex with the two girls before and KA on January 3).

Discovering that Mr. TC still had 2 million VND in his account, the group rushed in and punched and kicked him. Nhi demanded that he transfer all the money to a "ghost" account purchased online.

Before leaving, the group also took the victim's iPhone 11 Promax and set a condition that if Mr. TC wanted to redeem the phone and key, he would have to prepare 15 million VND.

Mr. TC went to the police station to report. During the investigation, the police arrested Nhi, Doanh and KA. At the police station, the group admitted to the above actions.
