The Department of Construction, the City Center for Management and Exploitation of Irrigation Works and related units closely coordinate with the People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones to effectively operate reservoirs, sluice gates, drainage culverts, and mobile water pumps to promptly mobilize and overcome flooding incidents caused by heavy rain from the impact of storm Kalmaegi combined with high tides and flood discharge from Dau Tieng Lake, causing an unfavorable combination.
In addition, the Department of Agriculture and Environment requested the City Green Tree Park Company Limited to quickly handle incidents of fallen trees caused by storm Kalmaegi.
The Department of Tourism informs units with tourist boats not to operate on rivers and seas in dangerous weather conditions, big waves, strong winds and to strictly check safety measures for tourists on board before departure.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment notes that between November 5 and 6, the central East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone) and the sea off the coast of Da Nang - Khanh Hoa are likely to be affected by strong winds of level 12 - 14, gusting to level 17, and waves of 8.0 - 10.0m high. All ships and structures operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are strongly affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.
