This is a project of special significance in the series of activities celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Hon Khoai Uprising and the Revolutionary Tradition Day of the Party Committee, people and army of Ca Mau province (December 13), and is also a highlight to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the twinning between the two provinces of Ca Mau - Ninh Binh .
Mr. Tran Song Tung - Permanent Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee - said that over the past 65 years, the twinning relationship between Ninh Binh and Ca Mau has always been nurtured with the spirit of solidarity and strong North-South friendship.
"The groundbreaking of Song Doc Primary School 5 is not only to support the physical facilities, create safe, spacious and modern learning conditions for students, become a place to nurture knowledge, foster dreams for generations of students in the Song Doc coastal area, and at the same time be a symbol of continuing the steadfast relationship between the two provinces," said Mr. Tung.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su said that the project is a vivid proof of the "65 years, one heart" sentiment between the two provinces. He asked the construction units to ensure quality and progress so that the project can be put into use soon and effectively.
The Song Doc Primary School No. 5 project was invested to meet the requirements of teaching 2 sessions/day, organizing boarding school and aiming to meet national standards. This is considered an important solution to overcome difficulties in educational infrastructure in the coastal area of Song Doc.
