"The preparations of both the Vietnamese men's and women's football teams were affected at the 33rd SEA Games," commented Siam Sports newspaper.

This is not the first time Thai media has spoken out about the disadvantages that Vietnamese football teams face at the SEA Games.

Previously, Thairath reported that the U22 Vietnam team (men's football) arrived 30 minutes late to the training session 2 days before the match against Laos, thereby significantly shortening their training time on the field.

After the match, many newspapers such as Thairath, Matichon, and Khaosod were angry and upset because the organizers did not play the national anthems of both Vietnam and Laos teams.

And recently, Siam Sports spoke up for the Vietnamese women's team, after coach Mai Duc Chung and his team also suffered from traffic jams, even though the competition venue was Chonburi, not Bangkok.

"The Vietnamese women's football team left the hotel at 4pm to head to Chonburi Stadium for the opening match at 6:30pm. Although the distance is only 25km, the journey took nearly an hour.

Meanwhile, the journey to the training ground the day before also took 55 minutes, slowing down the training progress and affecting the adjustment progress for the match," said Thairath .

This is the third time Thai media has reported, expressed indignation and expressed "guilt" towards the Vietnamese football teams when participating in the 33rd SEA Games.
