Specifically, advertising content must be honest, accurate, clear; not causing misunderstanding about the features, quality, uses, and effects of products, goods, and services.
In case the advertisement requires notes, recommendations, or warnings, they must be clearly, completely, and easily accessible; the text must be in a contrasting color to the background color and must not be smaller than the font size in the advertisement; the content of the notes, recommendations, or warnings must be read fully and clearly at a speed and volume equivalent to the speed and volume of other content in the same advertisement.
Advertising content does not include: Documents, information, images describing products, goods, services and products, goods provided by organizations, individuals producing and trading to carry out promotional activities, display, introduce goods, services and fairs, trade exhibitions, except for functional foods, foods for special diets which comply with the provisions of the law on food safety.

The Law also amends and supplements Clause 1, Article 21 as follows: The advertising area must not exceed 30% of the total area of a newspaper publication or 40% of the total area of a magazine publication, except for newspapers, magazines specializing in advertising, and advertising supplements; there must be signs to distinguish advertising content from other content.
Along with that, amend and supplement a number of clauses of Article 22 as follows: The advertising duration on the program channel provided by the promotional method must not exceed 10% of the total daily broadcast duration of the program channels, except for the advertising duration on the program channel specializing in advertising; there must be signs to distinguish the advertising content from other content.
The advertising duration on a paid-for television program channel must not exceed 5% of the total daily broadcast duration of the program channels, except for the advertising duration on a specialized advertising program channel; there must be a sign to distinguish the advertising content from other content.
The Law also amends and supplements Article 23 on online advertising. Specifically, online advertising activities include: Advertising on electronic newspapers, electronic information pages, social networks, online applications, digital platforms with Internet connection. Online advertising activities must comply with the following regulations: There must be clear identification signs in numbers, letters, symbols, images, and sounds to distinguish advertising content from other non-advertising content.
For advertisements that are not in fixed areas, there must be a feature and easily recognizable icon that allows the recipient of the advertisement to turn off the advertisement, notify the service provider of the violating advertisement content, and refuse to view inappropriate advertisement content. For advertisements that contain links to other content, the linked content must comply with the provisions of law; advertising service providers and advertising publishers must have solutions to check and monitor the linked content.
Organizations and businesses providing social networking services must provide users with features to distinguish advertising content from other content.
