On September 13, the Supervisory Delegation of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province (Delegation 1) had a working session with the Provincial Radio and Television Station on the implementation of a number of projects and sub-projects in the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, Phase I, 2021-2025 (referred to as the program).

The project to invest in the equipment system for producing ethnic language radio and television programs - Ninh Thuan Provincial Radio and Television Station belongs to Project No. 10, Sub-project 1 of the program. The project will be implemented from 2022-2025 with a total investment of 113.57 billion VND. Of which, the capital allocated for 2 years (2022-2023) is 72.23 billion. In the past time, the Station has coordinated with relevant units to implement the project according to the plan and disburse the allocated capital to ensure progress, reaching 100% of the annual plan. Up to now, the project has completed the procedures and implemented the selection of contractors for the bidding packages in accordance with the regulations and approved plans.

At the working session, the Supervisory Delegation exchanged and discussed to clarify the work of organizing, disseminating and implementing the project of the Station. At the same time, it was requested that the Station further strengthen its coordination with agencies, units and localities to propagate national target programs; pay attention to training and fostering the team of cadres, reporters and editors to improve the quality of information and propaganda; promote the development of specialized pages and columns to propagate the policies and laws of the Party and State to ethnic minorities in the province.

At the meeting, the leaders of Thuan Bac District People's Committee reported on the results of implementing 10 projects and sub-projects in the program; difficulties, obstacles and proposed recommendations to the provincial level. Accordingly, the results of mobilizing, allocating and using investment capital and career capital in 2 years (2022 and 2023) have disbursed more than 37 billion VND. From the capital source of the infrastructure investment program, meeting the essential needs of people in housing, production, health care,education ... to improve the material and spiritual life of the people. In addition to the achieved results, the progress of program implementation and capital disbursement of the district is still slow compared to the plan. The reason is due to problems with a number of mechanisms and policies; regulations and implementation instructions of ministries and branches are not specific, causing difficulties in the implementation process.

During the working session, the Supervisory Delegation also discussed and clarified the resource allocation mechanism and progress of projects and sub-projects in the program; at the same time, it requested the district to promptly complete the report with additional content of specific proposals and recommendations for the delegation to synthesize and send to competent authorities for consideration.
