(Dan Tri) - Seeing a lovely periwinkle caterpillar, a female worker in Ha Nam caught it from the garden and raised it on her desk at the factory. Her co-workers found it strange and filmed a video , which unexpectedly became famous online.
Ten days ago, Ms. Bui Kim Chung, manager of the sewing department of a tent manufacturing company, shared a video of a female employee raising coconut worms on her desk.
Initially, Ms. Chung posted the video just for entertainment purposes, but unexpectedly it created great attraction, reaching nearly 10 million views.
In the video, a female employee of the company is working hard, in front of her is a periwinkle tree. From a distance, it looks normal, but when you get closer, you will see a large, green periwinkle worm wriggling on the tree trunk. At times, the worm stretches out, as if about to attach itself to the female worker's head.
"My pet", Ms. Chung's caption received nearly 200 thousand likes and tens of thousands of comments expressing interest.
"I'm not as afraid of snakes as I am of this periwinkle caterpillar," reader Huong wrote.
"If you worked with me, I would probably ask to change teams immediately. I'm always busy looking at my pets," commented Kieu My. Another person joked, "If I met you, I would probably faint for a month."

The video became famous overnight, Ms. Chung was very surprised, she did not think the little caterpillar would receive so much attention. The female manager also showed it off to her colleagues and made many other videos about the unique "pet" in the factory. Each video reached millions of views.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ms. Chung said that the caterpillar was brought in by a female worker in the factory named Nguyen Thi Anh (38 years old) half a month ago.
"At first I thought she put the flower pot on her desk so I didn't say anything, but when I got closer I realized there was a worm on it," Chung said with a laugh.
In the factory, 70% of the workers are female, so when they see the caterpillar, many people are scared.
However, this caterpillar quickly became the "pet" of the entire factory when it suddenly became famous on social networks.
"Since the video went viral, everyone in the workshop has been happy and paying more attention," Chung shared.

Contacting Ms. Anh - the owner of this famous caterpillar, the woman said that half a month ago, while walking around the company's flower garden during break time, she accidentally saw the caterpillar eating in a bush of periwinkle flowers.
"Looking at the small mouth, big, bright, and green eyes of the caterpillar, it is very cute," said Ms. Anh. Not afraid of worms, she caught the animal and raised it.
To make room for the caterpillar to live, Ms. Anh brought a potted plant to put on her desk, as a place for the "pet" to live. The potted plant is also the caterpillar's food.
The caterpillar quickly became an involuntary "worker" in the factory. At 8am, the caterpillar was present at the factory, and at 5:30pm, it finished work and was released into the flower garden.
"I couldn't bring the worms home, so after work I brought them to the flower garden. Early in the morning when I got to work, I brought them back to my desk," said Ms. Anh.

"I didn't expect the worm to get so much attention," said Ms. Anh.
According to the woman, she has raised a total of 5 periwinkle worms so far. When the worms turn white and are about to form cocoons, Ms. Anh releases them into the garden so as not to affect their metamorphosis process.
"We will release the old worms into the garden and catch new ones to raise," said Ms. Anh. This is the first time the woman has raised worms. Thanks to the worms, the stressful working hours in the factory have become more comfortable.
