This result reflects the diligent efforts in studying, training, and cultivating the qualities and medical ethics of female military personnel at the Military Medical Academy.
Nguyen Thuy Nhuong was born in Bac Ninh, a province rich in scholarly and revolutionary traditions, which nurtured her special feelings about the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers. In 2018, with her hard work and dedication to her studies, Nhuong passed the entrance exam to the Military Medical Academy with a score among the top of her class.
Throughout her studies, with her diligence and thirst for knowledge, Nguyen Thuy Nhuong always sought out and developed her own study methods suitable for each subject, especially the difficult ones from the very beginning. Lieutenant Nguyen Thuy Nhuong shared her secret: “For students, studying and training are the central political tasks. Besides studying, it’s necessary to cultivate extracurricular activities and physical activities to help balance and regain enthusiasm after stressful study sessions. By participating in many tasks, I learned how to scientifically organize my work, providing useful knowledge for my studies.”

These achievements are a testament to the relentless efforts of the female student. For six consecutive years, Nguyen Thuy Nhuong has been an outstanding student, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of National Defense in 2021, a Certificate of Merit from the Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army in 2021, an Emulation Soldier of the entire army in 2022, and receiving the IBS scholarship from the Military Medical Academy in 2020 and 2021, and the Vallet scholarship in 2022 and 2024...
Not only is she diligent in her studies, Nguyen Thuy Nhuong also actively participates in scientific research with 3 projects that won first, second, and honorable mention prizes at the Academy level. In particular, the project "Research on changes in blood lactate concentration and its correlation with mortality rate in patients with multiple organ failure," undertaken by Nhuong and her research team, excellently won first prize at the Academy level and second prize at the 2023 Science and Technology Award for students in higher education institutions. Sharing about her achievements, Nhuong humbly stated that besides her own efforts, she also received enthusiastic guidance and professional training from the teaching staff, and the care, support, and assistance from leaders, commanders at all levels, and the entire unit.
After graduation, Lieutenant Nguyen Thuy Nhuong was assigned to remain at the Military Medical Academy awaiting assignment. “Regardless of the task or position, I will continuously cultivate my ethics, professional qualities, and expertise to always listen to and understand the suffering of patients. My colleagues and I will strive our best to become military doctors, wearing both the blue and white uniforms with the noble mission of caring for the health of soldiers and the people,” Nguyen Thuy Nhuong stated.
