On the morning of June 1, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) announced the new position of VFF Technical Director, Mr. Koshida Takeshi (Japanese nationality).

Mr. Koshida Takeshi, born in 1960, is a candidate recommended by the Japan Football Association's Professional Committee and is known as a well-trained football expert with a Pro coaching degree, as well as 30 years of experience working with major teams as well as youth teams.
Mr. Koshida Takeshi has devoted many years to Japanese football as a player, before moving to coaching in 1995. He has held the position of head coach of the Ishikawa regional football team, the Kanazawa Sakuragaoka school football team...; and held the role of Technical Director of the Zweigen Kanazawa Club - a team competing in the J-League from 2006 to 2010.

| With experience in competition and coaching, Mr. Koshida Takeshi was trusted and invited to participate in national coach training for the Japan Football Federation at level C, B, A courses. |
Becoming the VFF Technical Director, Mr. Koshida Takeshi will be a lecturer at coach training courses and seminars organized by VFF; coordinate with the professional department and coaches of VFF youth teams to orient and train Vietnamese youth football, and be responsible for training human resources for Vietnamese football, especially the system of young coaches, technical directors for clubs and football centers...
Mr. Koshida Takeshi becoming the VFF Technical Director also shows VFF's efforts in investing deeply in foreign experts with high professional qualifications and extensive experience, thereby contributing to helping Vietnamese football continue to build the necessary foundations to move towards the goal of stable and sustainable development.
