Mr. Nguyen Van Quang holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court.

On the afternoon of November 4, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies on the appointment of members to the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and Party Secretary of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Member of the Politburo , Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, Secretary of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies attended and presented the decision.

Attending the Conference were comrade Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong.

The conference announced Decision No. 15-QD/DU on the appointment of comrade Nguyen Van Quang to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Party Standing Committee and hold the position of Party Secretary of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing member of the Secretariat, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party agencies Tran Cam Tu highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of comrade Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee during his tenure as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court.

Presenting the decision and delivering a speech assigning tasks to comrade Nguyen Van Quang, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu said that the Politburo decided that comrade Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, ceased to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate; transferred, assigned, and introduced him to the National Assembly to elect him as Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and appointed him as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu congratulated comrade Nguyen Van Quang on his new responsibility; at the same time, asked him to continue to promote his experience, capacity, and strengths, and join the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court in working together to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Nguyen Van Quang expressed his gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies for their trust and confidence in assigning him the new task and responsibility of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.

Receiving the instructions, comrade Nguyen Van Quang said that in his new position, he will work with the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Court Party Committee to unite, be serious, determined, and resolute in innovating in implementing the Party's policies and guidelines in Party building work, in conjunction with the work of building the sector and performing the political tasks of the People's Court sector, especially the instructions of General Secretary To Lam at the Ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the People's Court sector and successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress of the Supreme People's Court Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Comrade Nguyen Van Quang also expressed his gratitude for the contributions of Comrade Le Minh Tri during his tenure as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court. Comrade Nguyen Van Quang said that he will continue to promote the results, achievements and valuable lessons that the People's Court sector has achieved in the past terms, to build a clean and strong Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court, with sufficient leadership and direction capacity. At the same time, develop the People's Court sector to meet the requirements of judicial reform, build a socialist rule-of-law State, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people, contributing to the country entering the era of national development.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang was born in 1969, from Hai Phong city, with a degree in political theory and a PhD in Law. During his career, he held positions such as: Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term; Secretary of the 22nd Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.
