"Boss" Florentino Perez reacts when Real Madrid suffers a crushing defeat

Real Madrid suffered a huge disappointment when they suffered a 0-4 defeat to PSG in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final at MetLife Stadium last night. This result was a real shock to Los Blancos' ambitions.

Over the years, President Floretino Perez has not had a good relationship with the top of PSG, especially after he “robbed” Mbappe without spending a penny from the rich French team. President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has publicly criticized Real Madrid’s approach in this case many times.

Speaking after the match against PSG, coach Xabi Alonso said: "The feeling is not very good, but we will try to learn from today. PSG has been built for two years by coach Luis Enrique. I have only just taken over Real Madrid, so it will take time, but we will have to learn from today. The current feeling is not the best.

“We need a real break now. This is not the beginning of next year, this is the end of the season. After just three weeks here, I think we can take the positives from this period and then learn from today.”
