Petrolimex is working with Enterprise Singapore.

The Enterprise Singapore delegation was led by Ms. Eunice KOH, Deputy General Director in charge of China and Southeast Asia, along with Mr. Jayakrishnan Gopalakrishnan - Director, in charge of South Asia, Middle East and Africa; and delegates from EnterpriseSG.

Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Pham Van Thanh chaired the reception and worked with the delegation, along with Deputy General Director Nguyen Ngoc Tu and leaders of the Departments: Investment Strategy, Synthesis, Research and Development, Communications and Public Relations, Office. Participating online at the working session was Chairman of Petrolimex Singapore Bui Ngoc Thach Anh.

Enterprise Singapore is the Singapore government agency dedicated to supporting enterprise development, to build capacity, promote innovation and support the international growth of Singapore enterprises. Enterprise Singapore's activities contribute to building Singapore as a global hub for trade and entrepreneurship, and enhance Singapore's reputation for quality products and services.

The meeting took place in an open and friendly atmosphere, demonstrating the interest and desire for extensive cooperation between Petrolimex and Enterprise Singapore. The two sides discussed potential cooperation opportunities in the field of energy transition and sustainable development. In recent times, through the connection of Enterprise Singapore, Petrolimex has worked with Singaporean enterprises to seek cooperation opportunities in the field of energy transition and has achieved some good progress. In addition, Enterprise Singapore has also supported Petrolimex Singapore - Petrolimex's subsidiary in Singapore for many years, to participate in the Singapore government's Global Trader Program (GTP) and many other programs.

Speaking at the meeting, Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of Petrolimex Board of Directors Pham Van Thanh said: “Petrolimex hopes that Enterprise Singapore will continue to support the Group in the process of energy transition towards a low-carbon economy and sustainable development. Support Petrolimex in connecting with Singaporean partners and enterprises to cooperate in researching new types of energy, developing electric vehicle charging stations and carbon credit projects, especially credit projects under the agreement between the Vietnamese and Singaporean governments within the framework of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement”.

In addition, Petrolimex expects Enterprise Singapore to support Petrolimex Singapore in continuing to participate in the Global Trader Program (GTP), introducing and connecting with Singaporean enterprises in the field of digitalization and innovation; and informing about the Group's cooperation in the petroleum and biofuel sectors with Singaporean enterprises.

Sharing at the meeting, Ms. Eunice KOH, Deputy General Director in charge of China and Southeast Asia markets, Enterprise Singapore, hopes to accelerate Petrolimex's energy transition programs. At the same time, she affirmed that she will actively create more cooperation opportunities in areas that Petrolimex is interested in and that Singaporean enterprises have strengths in.

To prepare for the energy transition, with the determination to realize the strategic goal by 2025, vision 2035 "To become the leading energy group in Vietnam in green, clean, high-quality, environmentally friendly energy products.
