Pham Thi Ngoc Thanh (contestant number 028) surpassed 14 other contestants to win the crown of Miss Culture and Tourism Vietnam 2024 held on the evening of December 12 in Da Nang City.

After 8 months of preparation, the contestants of Miss Culture and Tourism Vietnam 2024 entered the decisive competition night. The victory belonged to Pham Thi Ngoc Thanh (from Yen Bai) who is living and working in Hanoi . She is currently the General Director of SunFlower Books and Media Joint Stock Company. She has a balanced figure with a height of 1m68, weight of 57 kg, measurements of 93-68-96cm.
The new Miss Culture and Tourism Vietnam 2024 was awarded a crown, a certificate sash, flowers and prize money from the organizing committee. Miss Ngoc Thanh said that she works in the field of printing and book publishing, so when she heard about the contest about culture and tourism, she really liked it and registered to participate.
“I am also a travel enthusiast, love to explore the beauty of Vietnam and promote the culture and beauty of Vietnam to domestic and international friends” - Ngoc Thanh shared.
In addition, Pham Thi Ngoc Thanh said she was impressed with the criteria and meaning of this year's contest. This is an opportunity for contestants to exchange, learn, and seek opportunities to start a business and develop their future business careers. Thereby honoring the beauty, intelligence, morality, and bravery of Vietnamese women in the new era.
In the Final night, Pham Thi Ngoc Thanh impressed in the behavioral round with the Top 5. She received a question from Mr. Dinh Xuan Phong - Editor-in-Chief of Sports and Tourism Publishing House: "In your opinion, what are the basic factors needed to promote culture and tourism?".

She replied: “To promote Vietnamese culture and tourism, it is necessary to strengthen infrastructure and services, raise awareness of protection among local people and tourists when visiting any location. In addition, it is necessary to develop the local economy where the tourist destination is located.
Promote communication in the 4.0 era. Especially, there are many meaningful playgrounds like this so that everyone has the opportunity to learn more about the cultural journey. Thereby, promoting the national cultural identity and the beauty of Vietnam to domestic and international friends."
The first runner-up title went to Nguyen Thi Thao from Binh Dinh, the second runner-up titles went to Nguyen Thi Sim (SBD 031) and Phung Thi Ngan (SBD 018). The runners-up received sash certificates, tiaras, flowers... from the organizers.
The final night lasted 3 hours, with the contestants competing in the traditional Vietnamese dress by designer Cao Thu Van and evening gown. From there, the Top 5 were selected to enter the behavioral round with questions revolving around issues of tourism, Vietnamese culture, and social life.
