During the program, 500 monks, nuns and Buddhists of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province respectfully offered incense, flowers and commemorated and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs according to Buddhist rituals.

In the memorial speech, Venerable Thich Hue Khai, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province, on behalf of Dong Nai Buddhism, expressed his respect for the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh , heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families with meritorious services who have devoted and sacrificed for the country. At the same time, he affirmed that Dong Nai Buddhism will continue to promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", contributing more to the authorities at all levels to care for and show gratitude to families with meritorious services and people with meritorious services.

On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province organized a gift giving ceremony for people in difficult circumstances in the locality.
