At the meeting, Vice Principal in charge of Dong Nai University, Dr. Dang Anh Tuan informed about the formation and development process of Dong Nai University over nearly 50 years. In recent years, in addition to training in pedagogical majors, the school has opened other majors to meet the human resource needs of units and businesses in and outside the province.

In addition to the advantages of the school, Dr. Dang Anh Tuan said: The difficulties, shortcomings and limitations of the school, specifically the slow innovation of management, the lack of human resources such as highly qualified managers and lecturers. Recently, many highly qualified managers and lecturers have changed jobs, because the school has not had appropriate policies to "retain" this human resource.

Along with that, the school is facing difficulties in investing in facilities and equipment for human resource training. Many lecture halls, halls, practice rooms, laboratories, and training equipment that were invested in many years ago are now degraded or outdated. Digital transformation, scientific research activities and international cooperation are assessed as modest and not yet developed to the level of a public university in an industrial province with a huge demand for human resources.

The Council and Board of Directors of Dong Nai University recommend that the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and sectors continue to pay attention and create conditions for the school to have more resources to develop more strongly, gradually overcome difficulties, and meet the demand for high-quality human resources of the province in and outside the Southeast region in the coming time.

Specifically, the school hopes that the province will soon approve a policy allowing the school to attract and reward highly qualified managers and lecturers with doctoral degrees or higher to work and contribute to the school. This is one of the very important policies for the school to attract more highly qualified human resources to work at the school, and at the same time, to increase the training scale from the current 5,000 students to 20,000 students by 2030.

The school also proposed and hoped to be given priority in allocating resources to invest in comprehensively upgrading facilities and equipment to serve the needs of human resource training and scientific research, especially resources to implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy in management, teaching and scientific research.

In addition to investing in modernizing the main facility in Tam Hiep ward, Dong Nai University hopes to be facilitated in terms of land and finance to deploy additional training facilities in Dong Xoai ward (Dong Nai province) to contribute to increasing the scale of training in a modern direction, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources for the province, especially in the old Binh Phuoc province.

Regarding the activities of Dong Nai Pedagogical Practice High School and Pedagogical Practice Kindergarten under Dong Nai University, which have been assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Department of Education and Training and local management, Dong Nai University proposed to be given favorable conditions to continue managing them to restructure and develop them into a model pedagogical practice school, associated with the school's brand in the coming time.

At the meeting, leaders of the provincial departments, branches and sectors all expressed their agreement and support for the new development orientations and recommendations of the Council and the Board of Directors of Dong Nai University stated at the meeting. Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son said: Developing Dong Nai University to be strong and worthy is a very necessary task, which is of great concern to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee, especially in the context that Dong Nai province is developing rapidly and has a huge demand for high-quality human resources.

Investing resources in Dong Nai University to become a key university in training high-quality human resources is not only meaningful for Dong Nai province, but also for the whole Southeast region. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son said: In the coming time, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee will arrange a monthly schedule to work with Dong Nai University to promptly grasp, remove and resolve difficulties, creating conditions for the school to develop quickly, sustainably and effectively.

Speaking at the meeting, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Ton Ngoc Hanh said: Although Dong Nai University is facing many difficulties in its operations, the province is very interested in resolving these difficulties of the school. He informed that the Provincial Party Committee has included the content of developing Dong Nai University in the Political Report submitted to the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee (term 2025-2030) and has been submitted to the Politburo for approval. This is a great opportunity for the school to continue to receive attention and investment for rapid development in the coming time.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee will pay attention and will work with Dong Nai University once a quarter to better understand the school's operations. In the immediate future, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the school urgently complete the project on attracting highly qualified human resources to work and teach at the school, and submit it to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee for comments before submitting it to the Provincial People's Council for approval.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assessed: Although the project to attract highly qualified human resources has not been approved, in just a short time, the Council and Board of Directors of Dong Nai University have proactively invited many highly qualified people who are willing to return to work and contribute to the school. This is a great effort. Therefore, it is necessary to urgently complete policies and job position projects to attract more qualified human resources to work and contribute to the school for a long time.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh also expressed his support for Dong Nai University to retain Dong Nai Pedagogical Practice High School and Pedagogical Practice Kindergarten to serve the training process, when the training scale of Dong Nai University from now until 2030 is expected to increase to 20,000 students. However, Dong Nai University must have a project and plan to restructure the organization and operate reasonably and effectively, and at the same time, soon have good solutions to handle the current difficulties and problems regarding the staffing and policies of teachers at these two affiliated schools.

One issue that comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh especially noted to the Party Committee, Council, Board of Directors and teaching staff of Dong Nai University is to continue to attach importance to building and consolidating a high spirit of solidarity and unity within the organization. We must consider solidarity and unity as both strength and a vital factor for the development of the school.

Each cadre, party member, lecturer, especially the leader, must be a shining example of solidarity, unity, saying what you do, absolutely complying with the Party's regulations, democratic centralism, openness and transparency.
