Moc Chau ward is located in the core area of Moc Chau National Tourist Area, with National Highway 6 and National Highway 43 running through it. Many large-scale inter-regional transport infrastructure development projects are being implemented. The ward inherits and develops from the administrative center of the old Moc Chau town - an ancient land that, through many periods, was once the economic center of the whole region.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hoa, Chairman of Moc Chau Ward People's Committee, said: The ward is a place where many ethnic cultural identities converge and intersect. The most prominent are the Thai and Mong ethnic cultures, with traditional festivals such as: the Praying for Rain Festival recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage; the Chach Vat, Chach Va, Xen Ban festivals of the Thai ethnic group; the Stone God Worshiping Ceremony of the Mong ethnic group; and many beautiful landscapes and landscapes... Experiencing the traditional culture of the Mong people, visitors can go to Ta So village, home to more than 300 Mong households, divided into two villages: Ta So 1 and Ta So 2. With a cool climate, majestic natural scenery, and unique cultural features that the Mong people pay attention to preserving and conserving. In particular, in Ta So 2 village, there is Hang Tau area, which is considered by tourists as a "primitive village" and is a destination that attracts many young people who love to explore and experience. Hang Tau stands out with its lush green lawns, wooden houses of the Mong people forming an isolated area, surrounded by green forests. Hang Tau has no electricity, no mobile signal, no internet and retains its wild beauty, the scenery here is like a miniature steppe in the middle of the Northwest mountains and forests.
