By putting people at the center of all policies, Dong Nai has been implementing many specific programs and plans to ensure that culture is both the goal and the driving force for the integration, industrialization and modernization process.

Strongly develop cultural career

People's Artist Giang Manh Ha, Vice President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, President of the Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association, said: The Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, clearly expressed the view that culture is one of the pillars of development, on par with the economy . In that spirit, the team of artists in the province is making efforts to create many works of high ideological and artistic value, truly reflecting the breath of life, people and land of Dong Nai in the new period.

Mr. Ha shared: “Dong Nai is entering a period of strong development, with open space and much potential. The development of culture and economy requires artists to constantly innovate, commit, explore , and create works that are closely related to reality, reflecting the aspirations and identity of Dong Nai. Culture, literature and art need to be brought back to the grassroots, spread in the community, and at the same time be associated with new symbols of the province such as Long Thanh International Airport”.

Vice Chairman of Bien Hoa Ward People's Committee Truong Vinh Hiep said: Bien Hoa Ward is one of the areas where many workers live and work. Therefore, the investment in cultural development is of interest and focus to the locality. Creating a community living space, destination and healthy playground not only helps people and workers to be more united, but also contributes to building a safe, friendly and civilized living environment.

“In order to effectively implement the proposed plans, the locality is conducting a comprehensive review of the system of cultural houses, cultural - sports - community learning centers in the area; at the same time, recording the degradation and difficulties of cultural and sports institutions. This is the basis for the ward to propose and request investment policies, repair, upgrade as well as encourage individuals, businesses, and the community to join hands in investing and improving the efficiency of institutions serving the people,” Mr. Hiep shared.

According to Deputy Secretary of Phu Rieng Commune Party Committee Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, in order for culture to truly become the spiritual foundation of society, both the goal and the driving force for development, investment in this field needs to have a clear orientation, linked to the characteristics of each locality. In particular, each commune and ward needs to plan a suitable cultural space, in order to promote its own strengths, create diversity and spread the common values of Dong Nai culture.

Ms. Lan Anh said: “In parallel with economic development, localities need to pay more attention to preserving and restoring traditional cultural values, especially the culture of ethnic minorities in the province. This is not only a way to preserve identity but also an important lever to promote values, creating a unique, diverse and rich Dong Nai cultural appearance”.

Investing in cultural development commensurate with potential

Director of Dong Nai Museum Nguyen Ngoc Yen said: In order to preserve, maintain and promote the value of cultural heritage, the museum has been gradually applying technology in the display and digitization of artifacts and national treasures kept at the museum, conducting 360 virtual reality tours at relics, while enhancing interaction and experience. In particular, many relics have been invested, renovated and upgraded, becoming destinations for sightseeing, studying and researching for people and tourists inside and outside the province.

“In the coming time, Dong Nai Provincial Museum will continue to innovate, apply technology, expand connections, contributing to turning cultural heritage into a resource for socio-economic development, building dynamic, creative, humane and integrated Dong Nai people” - Ms. Yen emphasized.

According to Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan, in the coming time, the industry will continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development; inherit and promote Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU dated December 12, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on building and promoting Dong Nai's cultural values and people to become an important resource and driving force for comprehensive and sustainable development and Resolution No. 14-NQ/TU dated November 20, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on building and developing Binh Phuoc's culture and people to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

“Dong Nai currently has 120 relics ranked at provincial, national and special national levels and 5 national treasures being preserved and displayed at Dong Nai Museum including: Loc Hoa lithophone, Binh Da lithophone, Long Giao bronze collection, Binh Hoa Vishnu statue, Long Giao pangolin bronze statue. Director of Dong Nai Museum NGUYEN NGOC YEN

In addition, the cultural sector continues to promote the organization of activities to serve political tasks and meet the cultural needs of the people; at the same time, focusing on the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025-2035.
