First session of the 6th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho province, term 2024

On the morning of August 2, at the Provincial Convention Center, the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho Province, term 2024-2029, opened its first working session. The congress was attended by 200 delegates representing more than 196,000 young people in the province.

With the slogan: "Youth of the Homeland: Solidarity - Creativity - Aspiration - Development", at the first session, the Congress consulted to elect the Presidium and Secretariat; reported on the situation of delegates attending the Congress, approved the program, rules and regulations of the Congress; Reported on the synthesis of opinions contributed to the documents of the 6th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho province, term 2024 - 2029; Reported on the synthesis of opinions contributed to the documents of the 9th National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024 - 2029; Review report of the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho province, term V, term 2019 - 2024.

The Congress promoted democratic consultation to elect the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho province, term VI, 2024 - 2029, the position of President of the Association, term VI, consulted to elect the positions of Vice President, Secretariat, Inspection Committee, term VI, consulted to elect delegates to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union , term 2024 - 2029.

Delegates discuss at the forum "Youth of the Homeland proactively participate in digital transformation".

Within the framework of the first session, there were 2 discussion forums on the topics: "Youth of the Homeland proactively participating in digital transformation" and "Strengthening solidarity and gathering youth, building and developing a strong association". These are the contents that are of particular interest to many young people, who contributed their opinions enthusiastically. At the forums, young people were able to speak up, analyze the reality, strengths, and tasks of young people participating in making practical contributions to the digital transformation process in all aspects of life; innovate ways to gather young people to build a united, strong, pioneering, and proactive association in implementing movements.

The Congress is a political forum for the youth of the Ancestral Land to summarize and evaluate the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 5th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho province, term 2019-2024; at the same time, determine the directions, tasks, and solutions for the work of the Union and the youth movement for the term 2024-2029.

This afternoon, the 6th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Phu Tho province, term 2024 - 2029, will enter a solemn session.
