The Tunnels Movie Surpasses 150 Billion VND in Revenue

In its third week of release, although no longer topping the box office charts, Tunnels: Sun in the Dark still had impressive revenue and officially surpassed the 150 billion VND mark.

Specifically, according to Box Office Vietnam, over the weekend of April 18-20, the film earned more than VND11 billion with 119,573 tickets sold. Notably, the film saw a significant decrease in the number of screenings, with only 4,781 screenings compared to 8,295 screenings the previous week.

However, as of 8:00 a.m. on April 21, the film has officially surpassed the 150 billion VND revenue mark and become the highest-grossing film about revolutionary war in history.

The box office has another new domestic film released - Find the body: Headless Ghost . In the first week of release, the film earned more than 21 billion VND, leading both in the number of tickets sold (251,951 tickets) and the number of screenings (7,778 screenings). Up to now, the film has earned more than 29 billion VND.

Last week, the box office revenue was not too explosive. The top 5 revenue of the week included Ma Cuoi Giai Han , reaching over 5.9 billion VND (total revenue of over 34 billion) and A Minecraft movie earning over 2.1 billion VND (total revenue of over 21 billion VND).

Closing the top 5 is the movie Bribery , but only achieved a revenue of over 465 million VND.

However, this week's box office promises to be bustling again with a series of new works, notably the confrontation between Lat mat 8: Vong tay nang and Detective Kien: Ky an khong dau .

Lat mat 8: Vong tay nang is the next film in the Lat mat series which has been very successful at the box office for about a decade. The film will have early screenings from April 27.

Meanwhile, Detective Kien: Headless Case will have special screenings from 6pm on April 25.

Both films will officially premiere on April 30, promising an extremely exciting box office race.

In addition, the theater also welcomes a number of animated films to be released such as: Looney Tunes: The Day the Earth Exploded, Green Dinosaur Travels to the World of Comics .
