At the Association's premises, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh , recalling his words: "The blood of the soldiers has dyed the revolutionary flag even brighter red. The sacrifices of the martyrs have prepared the ground for the country to blossom with independence and bear the fruits of freedom. Therefore, the Government and the people must repay these loyal and devoted sons and daughters in a way that is worthy."

Sharing about the Association's achievements, Lieutenant General Hoang Khanh Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs, said that over the past 15 years, the organization has continuously developed: there are now 21 associations and branches at the provincial and city levels nationwide, and nearly 7,000 members across the country.
"Looking back over the past nearly 15 years, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs and its affiliated organizations nationwide have been and continue to be an extension and link between the Party, the State, and the families of martyrs; a reliable address for relatives of martyrs in providing and connecting information to search for the remains of martyrs and implementing the policies and regulations of the Party and Government for martyrs and their relatives," Lieutenant General Hoang Khanh Hung stated.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, highly appreciated the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs for successfully fulfilling its principles and objectives. “The Association’s activities have instilled and fostered patriotism, comradeship, brotherhood, mutual support, and the precious traditions of the nation, not only for the present generation but also for future generations,” Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong emphasized.
Acknowledging the proposals and recommendations of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong also agreed that the Association's activities should be considered within the overall context of other associations and state management agencies. With the development of digital transformation and digital technology, following the establishment of the Martyrs' Gene Bank, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hoped that more martyrs would be found in the future.
