Since the construction of the Ho Chi Minh Museum began, in addition to the technical department of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command assigned to supervise and operate the technical system in the basement of the building, the Ho Chi Minh Museum has proactively established a technical department to gradually approach, grasp and master the technical system. In 1996, after 6 years since the Ho Chi Minh Museum officially opened to visitors, the operation of the entire technical system of the Ho Chi Minh Museum was completely undertaken by the staff of the Technical Department.
Also established right from the early days of the Museum's establishment, with its predecessor being the Department of Organization, Personnel and Security, the Security Department is the core force in ensuring order and safety for the entire agency and visitors to the Ho Chi Minh Museum.
