To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, cultural units in the city organized many screening, display, exhibition and art performance activities to serve the people and tourists, thereby arousing patriotism, gratitude and national pride.

Da Nang Museum said that from April 29 to May 1, it will organize a 3D Mapping film screening with the theme "The Story of Da Nang" at the front of the museum building, 42 Bach Dang (Hai Chau district) with two screenings every night at 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The film uses specialized equipment to project light directly onto the surface of the 42 Bach Dang building, combined with sound to create a 3D Mapping effect, recreating the historical - cultural story - the aspiration for continuous development of Da Nang city.

“The 3D Mapping film “The Story of Da Nang” is a deep gratitude to our ancestors, generations of fathers and is a new - attractive - impressive tourist attraction in the heart of the city, creating a strong ripple effect, contributing to promoting the image of Da Nang city in general and the Da Nang Museum in particular to domestic and foreign tourists”, Director of Da Nang Museum Huynh Dinh Quoc Thien shared.

In addition to opening throughout the holidays to serve the public during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum continues to open the exhibition "Da Nang brocade" to introduce the fine art works of 20 Da Nang artists about the 50-year development process and aspirations of Da Nang's homeland. Especially, the participation of veteran artists who laid the foundation and contributed to the development of the city's fine arts after 1975 such as: Vu Duong, Duy Ninh, Hoang Dang, Dinh Gia Thang, Nguyen Trong Dung, Tran Thi Cuc, Ho Dinh Nam Kha, Than Trong Dung... to promising successor generation artists such as: Do Thanh, Phan Thanh Hai, Ngo Thanh Hung, Tran Tam, Nguyen Tien Viet, Pham Anh, Le Ngan Thuy...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Trinh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, said that the exhibition displays 39 works of diverse materials and genres such as: oil painting, lacquer, silk, tempera, acrylic, wood carvings, hand-painted paintings, round statues, reliefs... through the artistic perspective of the artists from historical and cultural relics, the simple life of coastal people, traditional cultural festivals, images of architectural works, typically the famous bridges connecting the two banks of the Han River of the city... All are vividly and emotionally recreated, creating a colorful picture, subtly reflecting the 50-year development process and aspirations of the homeland of Da Nang.

During the 5 days from April 26 to 30, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum introduced online 50 sketches by martyrs, painter Ha Xuan Phong and the late painter Nguyen Duc Hanh on 5 topics: Resilient struggle; Vietnamese female soldiers; People's lives during the resistance war; Portrait of soldiers and Love between the army and the people. In particular, the museum decorated the national flag at the entrance to welcome visitors and gave away stickers symbolizing the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, national reunification and the national flag to visitors on April 29 and 30.

At APEC Park, the exhibition “Da Nang 50 years - Aspiration to rise” organized by the City's Union of Literature and Arts Associations continues to open to visitors during the April 30 holiday until May 2. With more than 300 works by famous artists and late artists from Quang Nam and Da Nang in three fields including fine arts, photography and architecture, “Da Nang 50 years - Aspiration to rise” will be a display space reflecting the development process of Da Nang from 1975 to the present. The exhibition is not only an opportunity to look back on the city's development journey but also an opportunity for generations of artists, photographers and architects to exchange and discuss, aiming for new creations. Thereby, helping people and visitors have a comprehensive view of Da Nang's development journey, from historical and cultural values ​​to the value of the city's iconic works through the language of art.

On this occasion, at Trung Vuong Theater, the program "Tien Sa Show" offers a 50% discount on ticket prices for all customers when purchasing tickets to watch the special art program until April 30. Previously, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City coordinated with the People's Committee of Son Tra District to organize the art performance program "Love of Da Nang" at the park east of Dragon Bridge to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

With 18 elaborately staged performances, professional artists and actors from 8 performing units including: Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater, Trung Vuong Theater, Da Nang City Cultural - Cinema Center, Son Tra District Cultural, Information and Sports Center, Da Nang Children's Palace, Da Nang College of Culture and Arts, Da Nang Dance Artists Association and Da Nang Music Association, brought the audience an emotional artistic space with harmonies filled with love for the homeland and country, arousing gratitude and national pride.
