On the afternoon of December 4, Hanoi Radio and Television introduced to the audience the TV series “Sweet Phu Sa” - a 55-episode series broadcast at 8:00 p.m. daily on H2 channel. This is a continuation of the TV series and special film projects that the Station was assigned to produce in 2025.

Not only does it recreate the simple rhythm of life with a storytelling style that touches emotions in very familiar situations and cinematic scenes, the film also conveys the existing and potential beauty of a land, helping viewers clearly feel the strategic vision of the City in moving towards harmonious development between urban and nature, both improving the environment and reviving the cultural and historical values associated with the legendary Red River. From the stories in Ben hamlet, the film contributes to spreading the spirit of building a "green axis - cultural axis" and forming social consensus for the vision of "City on the Red River".
Through a close-to-life storytelling style, the film emphasizes the role of the Red River as the cultural - economic - ecological vein of the Capital, where the streams carry alluvial particles that nourish life and inspire the process of change of a city that develops in a modern direction while still being rich in identity.
Belonging to the psychological-family genre, the film depicts the lives of riverside residents but also conveys their tenacity, desire for change, and dreams of advancement. The setting is realistically exploited: from the old town to the riverside working-class neighborhoods - where traditional culture blends with modern urban life.
As Hanoi plans to take the Red River as an important development axis in the new period, the changes of the city are clearly reflected in the daily life of the riverside community. The wild banks are gradually taking on a new look - urban areas, ecological areas, modern civilized landscapes opening up livelihood opportunities for the people. And in that shift, the film reflects the change between the past and the present, where people both preserve the memory of the river and step over the threshold of a rapidly changing city.

Director Manh Ha chose a gentle, poetic narrative style, emphasizing the simple beauty of riverside life. He used everyday details - alluvial flats, markets, the sound of boat engines, Ben hamlet meals - to create a space rich in emotions and connected to the values the Red River brings.
The film "Sweet Alluvium" is part of communication and propaganda activities to disseminate and raise public and social awareness of the planning of Hanoi Capital for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, especially the Red River Landscape Avenue Axis - a project with momentum for the new development phase - a symbol of the Capital in an important era in the new period, the changes of the city are clearly reflected in the daily life of the riverside community. The wild banks are gradually taking on a new look - urban areas, ecological areas, modern civilized landscapes opening up livelihood opportunities for people.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tat Kien - Deputy Director of the Center for Cinema and Television, Director of the film production, the idea of "Sweet Alluvium" comes from the strong movements of Hanoi in recent years - especially in the areas along the Red River. Hanoi Radio formed the project very early, taking time to prepare carefully before filming in the autumn days of September, with the desire to bring a work that reflects the breath of the times.
