Bai Chay Ward started construction of a group of projects to renovate, upgrade, urban infrastructure and residential areas.

On the afternoon of December 2, Bai Chay Ward held a groundbreaking ceremony for 4/7 projects in the group of projects to renovate and upgrade urban infrastructure and residential areas in the ward. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh Province.

4 projects were started with a total investment of more than 34 billion VND, including: Renovation and upgrading of lane 266 (section from Ha Long street to Hau Cau street); renovation and embellishment of the road in front of Bai Chay Secondary School; installation and replacement of public lighting system with energy-saving LED lights in the entire ward; renovation and upgrading of Nguyen Cong Tru street.

To implement the project, 69 households voluntarily donated land, fences and architectural works with a total area of ​​about 1,000 square meters and an estimated value of over 19 billion VND for construction.

Comrade Vu Quyen Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, gave a speech at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, emphasized: The groundbreaking of 4/7 projects to renovate and upgrade existing urban infrastructure and residential areas shows the efforts and determination of Bai Chay ward in implementing the policy of improving the quality of urban areas and existing residential areas of the province, with the biggest goal being to improve the quality of life of the people.

He expressed his appreciation for the voluntary spirit of donating land, moving fences and architectural works of dozens of households. This is not only an action that contributes to the smooth implementation of the project, but also demonstrates the consensus and trust of the people in the Party's policies.

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Project to renovate, upgrade technical infrastructure, and beautify urban and residential areas (phase 1).

In order for the project to be implemented on schedule and achieve the highest quality, Bai Chay ward needs to maintain good local management, direct relevant units to coordinate closely and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process; strictly comply with technical and aesthetic requirements, labor safety, environmental sanitation; and the roads after renovation and upgrading must ensure uniformity in sidewalks, asphalt concrete pavement and underground electricity. In addition to these 4 projects, the ward urgently prepares for investment in the remaining 3 projects, ensuring strict compliance with legal regulations.

Machinery and vehicles are gathered to implement the project.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province also emphasized that the Party Committee and the authorities of Bai Chay ward in particular and the whole province in general need to continue to mobilize people to participate in donating land and moving fences and consider this an important content in the emulation movement of cadres, party members and people in the area. From there, Bai Chay and the whole province will have more civilized and exemplary roads, "happy" roads for the people, building Bai Chay as a high-quality, smart, modern tourism - service center, the core in the chain of national and international tourist cities.
