This is a meaningful step in POND'S Vietnam's journey to popularize beauty knowledge among young people, helping them recognize and properly care for their skin.
Ben Tre , Vietnam – October 28, 2024 – POND'S Vietnam, in collaboration with the Red Cross, successfully organized the series of events “Translating Skin Languages to Spread Miracles” at Phan Ngoc Tong High School (October 21) and Suong Nguyet Anh High School (October 28). This is a meaningful step in POND'S Vietnam's journey to popularize beauty knowledge among young people, helping them to better understand and care for their skin.
Attracting nearly 1,000 high school students, the series of events offered them the experience of "listening" to their skin scientifically , with the support of a "skin language translation team" consisting of dermatologists and famous KOLs in the beauty field such as the first runner-up of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022, Che Nguyen Quynh Chau, Beauty Blogger Chloe Nguyen, Trinh Pham, Call Me Duy, etc.
A series of activities to disseminate knowledge about skincare and spread the "magic" of confidence.
Over the two days of the event, students from two high schools in Ben Tre were introduced to scientific knowledge about skin, as well as simple, easy-to-implement skincare methods at home, from three doctors: Luong My Hanh, Bich Thuy, and Mai Chinh. In particular, the team of experts, together with POND'S Vietnam, conducted skin analysis activities right at the event, helping students better understand their skin condition and choose appropriate skincare methods.
In addition to knowledge sharing, the event featured lively and creatively designed games that helped spread skincare information easily, creating a fun and highly interactive atmosphere. Accompanying 1,000 students in this activity were a series of KOLs such as runner-up Che Nguyen Quynh Chau, beauty bloggers Chloe Nguyen, Trinh Pham, Call Me Duy, content creators Huong Ly, Tizi, Kha Duy Le, The Bang, Chi Hay Di, Gia Han, Nhat Ha, Te To Te, and Thai Thuy Linh – all influential figures among young people.
With the support of KOLs through various beneficial activities, young people realized that having bright, healthy skin is simple with just a few small daily skincare steps. Beauty blogger Chloe Nguyen, with over 1 million followers across platforms, shared: “During my school years, I never had the opportunity to participate in such scientific and beneficial skincare programs, so when I received an invitation from POND'S, I immediately agreed. I hope that after this event, students will not only understand their skin better but also know how to care for it properly, so they can always be confident and radiant in every journey ahead.”
A small survey at the event revealed that nearly 100% of participating students admitted to being unaware of daily habits that could unintentionally harm their skin, and that skincare isn't complicated at all. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhu, a 10th-grade student from Phan Ngoc Tong High School, shared: "I always thought that skincare required using expensive cosmetics, but after the event, I realized that if you understand your skin correctly, skincare steps can be very simple yet effective."
Besides guidance and recreational activities, POND'S and the Red Cross donated 56 packages of essential items such as rice, seasoning, cooking oil, etc., to underprivileged students at two schools. To encourage their studies and promote healthy skin, POND'S also prepared nearly 800 gift packages including backpacks, water bottles, and personal care products such as POND'S facial cleanser, mini fragrance sprays, and other necessary items, which were given to all students participating in the program. The total cost of the event and gifts amounted to over 1 billion VND.
Closing one chapter, opening a new one.
The series of talk shows in Ben Tre marked the conclusion of POND'S Vietnam's "Translating Skin Language to Spread the Miracle" program, but also opened a new chapter. There, POND'S Vietnam is committed to continuing to raise awareness about basic skincare for young people, especially students in disadvantaged areas with limited access to suitable skincare products.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Vu Thao, brand manager of POND'S, shared: “POND'S is always committed to its mission of providing high-quality skincare products specifically designed for Vietnamese skin. We believe that only knowledge and science can help students achieve the most natural and healthy beauty. That's why POND'S has carried out many activities related to schools, such as live skin analysis sessions with doctors, and today's live interaction to share knowledge about skincare.”
The event in Ben Tre is a significant step forward for POND'S in its journey to create community values, not only focusing on external beauty but also spreading confidence and encouraging young people to boldly express themselves and take control of their lives. This journey promises to continue, opening up many opportunities for Vietnamese people across the country to "listen" to their skin and discover the "magic" every day.
