Military Region 1: Supporting Viet Bac Highland High School to overcome the consequences of natural disasters

On the morning of October 28, a working delegation of Military Region 1 led by Major General Le Van Tho, Political Commissar of the Military Region, visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support Viet Bac Highland High School in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

The delegation of Military Region 1 deeply sympathized with the damage caused by natural disasters to Viet Bac Highlands High School, and sent condolences, encouragement and sympathy to the families of the students as well as the staff and teachers of the school.

Major General Le Van Tho and the delegation of Military Region 1 presented gifts to support Viet Bac High School.

It is known that Viet Bac High School is a Central Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities with more than 200 staff, teachers, workers and nearly 3,000 students. During the recent historic flood, the school suffered damage to its facilities, teaching equipment and landscape. Despite the great damage, with the spirit of solidarity and sharing, teachers and students of the school have strived to overcome difficulties and bring the school back to normal operation.

On this occasion, Major General Le Van Tho and the delegation of Military Region 1 presented 50 million VND to support Viet Bac Highland High School to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
