Colonel Nguyen The Manh, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) attended and delivered a speech.

The contest was attended by 72 contestants from 18 printing establishments across the army.

Colonel Nguyen The Manh, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) delivered a speech directing the opening of the 5th All-Army Printing Competition for Skilled Workers in 2025.

Colonel Nguyen The Manh presented souvenir flags to representatives of participating teams.

In his opening speech, Colonel Nguyen The Manh emphasized that, along with publishing and distribution, printing production is one of the three areas of publishing activities. In the Army, printing production has contributed to propagating the viewpoints, guidelines, policies of the Party and State, and the tasks of the Army; raising awareness, responsibility, determination, and readiness to receive and complete tasks well of officers and soldiers.

The contest aims to assess the actual professional skills of the team of technical workers in the Army printing industry, thereby determining policies and measures for training and fostering to improve qualifications, creative capacity, and application of science and technology in the production process, promoting the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers", building a team of technical workers in the Army printing industry that is mature in all aspects, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

The contest gathered outstanding and typical faces, the "golden hands" of printing establishments across the army. Therefore, the organizing committee set very high requirements for the contest, the Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department affirmed.

Lieutenant Colonel Luong Trung Hau, Deputy Head of the Jury of the contest, affirmed that the jury will strictly comply with the regulations, organize the exam and grade it seriously, objectively, accurately, and create the best conditions for the contestants.

On behalf of the contestants, Major Ly Xuan Cuong (team of the 1st Military Printing Limited Liability Company) expressed his honor and pride in being selected to participate in the contest; promising to best demonstrate his qualifications and abilities, cultivate knowledge, accumulate experience, and effectively apply it to performing tasks at the unit.

According to plan, the contest will take the theory test on October 28; the practical test on October 28 and 29; and close on the morning of October 31.
