Military Region 4: Checking and evaluating the results of the "Excellent Production Unit" Contest in 2025 at Brigade 414

On the afternoon of December 6, the working delegation of Military Region 4 led by Colonel Dinh Viet Lieu, Head of the Quartermaster Department, Logistics and Engineering Department of Military Region 4, inspected and evaluated the results of the "Excellent production unit at battalion level and equivalent in 2025" contest; at the same time, grasped the situation of military logistics work, preparations for military deployment, Lunar New Year, and welcoming new soldiers in 2026 at Brigade 414.

To participate in the Competition, Brigade 414 invested 500 million VND to build new production models, complete the barn system, especially to overcome the consequences after storm No. 5. In addition to the investment source from the superiors, the Battalion continued to promote internal resources, allocating 288.5 million VND from the unit's capital fund, of which 366 million VND was for the hydroponic greenhouse system; 50 million VND to build a model for raising black apple snails, frogs, and catfish; 50 million VND to invest in planting fruit trees, completing the fencing system and purchasing additional livestock. The total investment reached 788.5 million VND to serve the construction of new models in the direction of concentration, efficiency, sustainability, and application of scientific and technical advances in production increase.

The unit mobilized 3,075 working days of soldiers to plan and expand 3,730m² of garden; renew and consolidate 2,012m² of solid roof garden; build 1,012m² of new trellis; build and consolidate 1,080m² of barns; plant and care for 1,500m² of new fruit trees... The new models bring rich and quality products, contributing to improving and enhancing the lives and meal quality of soldiers.

Speaking at the conclusion of the inspection, Colonel Dinh Viet Lieu acknowledged and commended Brigade 414 for its attention, leadership, direction, serious, tight, thoughtful implementation and safety assurance; successfully completing and many contents of excellent completion of the competition criteria. He highly appreciated the efforts and attempts to quickly overcome the consequences after the storm, maintain and replicate many effective models, create a stable food source to serve the troops, contribute to improving their lives and well meet the requirements of combat readiness tasks. He requested the unit to continue to overcome limitations, supplement plans, ensure good military logistics for troops on the march, Lunar New Year 2026 and welcome new soldiers in 2026.
