The head of the Quang Ngai provincial government pointed out the shortcomings and limitations that the remote and western border communes of the province need to address soon.
Specifically, the operational efficiency of the two-tiered local government, linked to the quality of its officials, is sometimes limited; the current situation has not been adequately identified to develop breakthrough solutions to promote local growth; attracting businesses to invest in the area remains modest; regional coordination and linkages between communes within the region, and the connection between the locality and relevant departments and agencies, are still limited; and transportation infrastructure still faces many difficulties and lacks uniformity…

According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, Nguyen Hoang Giang, in order to develop socio-economic conditions, the staff of remote and border communes in the western part of the province need to change their mindset, way of thinking, and methods of work; they must think deeply, act on a large scale, and determination must go hand in hand with action. They must boldly and proactively propose and effectively implement breakthrough solutions, closely adhering to the policies and directions of the Party and the State, as well as the province.
At the same time, strengthen regional linkages, shape development space, develop large-scale production associated with processing industries and raw material areas; develop tourism and promote attracting businesses to invest in the area.
Review all tasks, including those assigned since the beginning of 2025, ad hoc tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, and tasks transferred from the district to the commune. Through this process, ensure the highest possible quality in completing all tasks.
